PREVENTATIVE: ALL children are constantly creating the adult they are going to be. In most families today we are so busy with routines that although we talk about everyday things, the opportunity to discuss difficult issues usually only comes up after the fact. IPC programs give participants the unique opportunity to look at real life scenarios and discuss them as a group, to share ideas and come to their own personal conclusions about how they would face difficult situations before they actually encounter them.
confident, beautiful, funny, smart, silly, sincere, thoughtful, thankful… WHO ARE YOU?
All youth programs are delivered in a small group format containing between 5-15 participants and one facilitator. This gives the group an opportunity to share thoughts and opinions in a small but open environment. A sense of community is established through conversation, while promoting self-trust and self-worth. No two programs are the same.
RECOVERY / RESILIENCE / ACES:
Some individuals have obstacles that create a different trajectory based on Adverse Childhood Experiences, Early Childhood or Generational Trauma. Recovery and Resilience Programs take these obstacles into account and provide participants with Trauma Based support utilizing a Peer to Peer approach.
Please see individual Kid and Teen pages for information on each.
All IPC Programs include an age appropriate handbook which holds the lessons, ideas and artwork of participants. The Handbook of WHO I AM is a unique confidence building tool. Because they are created throughout the course of the program by participants, no two are the same.
